This picture was taken at the end of June 2010 and is of a deer at the end of it's swim across Lake Mascoma. The deer stopped at the lake's edge for a drink of water and then entered the lake (on the west side) and proceeded to swim across the lake exiting on the west side. (Picture: Julie McLaughlin)
