Lake Host ProgramLAKE HOST PROGRAM--WORKING TO PRESERVE THE LAKE FOR YOUR RECREATIONAL ENJOYMENT Since 2002, the Lake Hosts have been working at the lake's two boat launches to check boats entering and leaving the lake for milfoil and other invasive plants that threaten the water quality and recreational use of Mascoma Lake. Supported by grant money and tremendous volunteer efforts, the lake hosts educate boaters and compile statistics that help NH Lakes Association protect New Hampshire lakes.
