Water QualityWater Quality MLA actively monitors the water quality of Mascoma Lake and tributaries. We test for water clarity, turbidity, total phosphorus, pH, e-coli, and other parameters. We have 17 years of data that are recorded in New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) Volunteer Lake Assessment Program (VLAP) Reports. This data is very important for identifying any changes in water quality. Members are welcomed to attend any of our sampling events, which occur in June July and August.
